Faithful Fish

Some of you may ask, why Christian clothing? If I know in my heart that I am a Christian do I need to show it outwardly with my clothing? We have asked ourselves the same question! Recently Chelsea told us a story of attending a party wearing her “trendy” FAITHFUL FISH® tee. What she noticed was the difference between how the boys treated her compared to some of the other girls. As the night went on she noticed that no one offered her a drink and all of the boys were polite to her! Why—they knew immediately where she stood just by what she was wearing! But you know what? She still had a great time! What you wear sends a message to everyone who sees you; how you dress is usually a reflection of who you are and will reflect how people treat you. Some things to think about:

• First impressions are made within three seconds of meeting someone new.In those first three seconds, people are looking for “surface clues”.
• Once the first impression is made, it is virtually irreversible.
• Our bodies are a gift from God and should be treated that way. We should dress with dignity as children of God.
• We as Christians are being confined in so many ways as to how we can express our faith, wearing your faith with subtle clothing is a perfect way for others to see the joy of your faith.
• You are spreading His Word one shirt at a time.
• The FAITHFUL FISH® designer line is cool and trendy and higher quality than some of the more popular secular brands.

A Christian’s life should be a continual expression of our faith by the way in which our life is lived. So not only do we glorify God through praise, prayer, acts of service but also by the way we dress. (That does not mean you have to wear Christian clothing every day but we’ll save this discussion for another blog!) We would love to hear your thoughts!
