As we continue to seek encouragement and a faithful lifestyle, we’re pleased to present you with five more suggestions on how to live faithfully every day. We hope these will help you continue on your walk with Christ and inspire you to consistently live out your faith in endless ways.</p>
<p><strong> 5. Seek mentorship and accountability. </strong>Having someone hold you accountable in your faith can make a world of difference in your walk with Christ. Seek the advise of those older and wiser to better live a faithful life.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>At Faithful Fish, we seek mentorship in business practices to ensure that we are being good stewards of all God has entrusted us with. <strong> </strong><em>“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.”</em> &#8211; Proverbs 11:14 <strong><em> </em>6. Share your faith. </strong>People may deny Jesus and Christianity, but no one can deny your personal testimony. Practice discernment when sharing your story, but don’t be afraid to boldly share how Christ has changed your life.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>Founder, Chelsea Eubank (<a href="https://twitter.com/#!/Chelsea_Eubank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">https://twitter.com/#!/Chelsea_Eubank</span></a> ) has had the opportunity to share her story and the story of Faithful Fish with people throughout the country. Through overcoming hardships, Chelsea’s story shows God’s providence and power in her life. <em>“One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: ‘Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.’” – Acts 18:9   </em><strong>7. Have a ministry. </strong>There is something to be said for the body of Christ meeting together on a regular basis. Join a Bible study or consider leading one yourself to experience the richness of Christian community.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>Chelsea serves as a volunteer for Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Ga. and loves being able to be in community with other like-minded young professionals. <strong> </strong><em>“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  –Hebrews 10:25 </em><strong> 8. Become the person you are looking for. </strong>Pastor and leadership expert, Andy Stanley, recently preached a series called the <em>New Rules for Love, Sex &amp; Dating</em>. In it, he challenged single men and women to ask the question: “Are you who the person you are looking for is looking for?”</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>Proverbs 31 reminds women of the following: <strong><em> </em></strong><em>“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” – </em>Proverbs 31:30   <strong>9. Feed your mind with positive, uplifting music. </strong>The type of music we listen to can have a strong impact on our mindset. To keep your mind focused on Christ, consider fasting from secular music for a time period and notice how it changes your daily attitude.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>One of Chelsea’s favorite artists is Chris Tomlin, who recently performed at the Pure Celebration in Birmingham. This was an event for PURE Ministries, for which Chelsea serves on the Board of Directors. <em>“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy&#8211;think about such things.</em><em>” – Philippians 4:8   “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.<strong>” – </strong>Romans 12:2 </em><strong> 10.  Memorize Scripture. </strong>As we mentioned in Part 1 (link back to the first post) of this series on living faithfully, reading your Bible is essential to your walk with Jesus; however, it is not enough to simply read, only to soon forget afterward.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>To apply scripture to your daily life, make memorization habit. Write down verses several times until you can recite them from memory without looking. If you meditate on God’s Word and bask in His presence every day, it will noticeably change your life. While this is a slow process, it has eternal benefits.</p>
<p><span style="font-family: Times; font-size: x-small;"> </span>Here at Faithful Fish, one of our favorite memory verses is:</p>
<p><sup><span style="font-size: x-small;">“ </span></sup><span style="font-size: small;">But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”</span><strong> Galatians 5:22-23</strong></p>

<h2>Top 10 Tips for Living Faithfully &#8211; Part I</h2>
<p>Here at Faithful Fish, we believe in truly living out our faith. When founder, Chelsea Eubank, experienced extreme loss at age 17, she chose the path of living faithfully and began Faithful Fish, a company that would allow people to live out their faith through clothing. The book of James teaches, “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” With this in mind, how can we live out our faith daily through our actions?</p>
<p>We will be doing a two-part series on 10 tips for living faithfully, accompanied by relevant scripture. We hope that each of these tips encourages you in your walk with God and shows you that there are endless ways to be faithful.</p>
<p>Here are the first five tips in no particular order:</p>
<p>1. Read your Bible daily. Reading the Word of God is essential to living a life of faith. Through daily Bible readings, we learn the heart of God and His purpose for our lives. We also realize our own shortcomings and need for a Savior. It is then that we can repent, remembering that He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. What sweet news!</p>
<p>At Faithful Fish, it is our goal to spend time in the Word each day and offer encouraging Bible verses to our community through our <a href="https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Faithful-Fish/74866214349" target="_blank">Facebook</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/search/faithfulfish" target="_blank">Twitter</a>.</p>
<p>“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” –Hebrews 4:12</p>
<p>2. Surround yourself with faithful people. Whoever we choose as our closest friends will have an extraordinary influence on our personal actions. Make sure you are choosing to surround yourself with people who build you up and live out their faith authentically—in both word and action.</p>
<p>We have been fortunate enough to encounter others who lift us up through their wisdom and desire to seek the Lord constantly.</p>
<p>“Do not be misled: &#8220;Bad company corrupts good character.&#8221; &#8211; 1 Corinthians 15:33</p>
<p>“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17</p>
<p>3. Practice forgiveness. One of the strongest marks of a true Christian is someone who practices forgiveness. Extending grace is so unnatural for humans, but those of us who believe we have been bought with the blood of Christ realize that we have a new standard. Living with the goal of showing forgiveness in the way that Jesus does for us will allow us to fully realize what He did for us on the cross.</p>
<p>We must be willing to forgive those who at times we feel may not deserve our forgiveness. We and reminded that as humans, we did not deserve what Jesus provided for us, but are eternally grateful.</p>
<p>“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” &#8211; Ephesians 4:32</p>
<p>4. Make prayer a habit. The significance of prayer lies in our ability to connect directly with God. It invites us into conversation with the King of the universe and helps us align our thoughts and actions to fit His pleasing and perfect will.</p>
<p>Every day, we pray for the lives of others that we encounter through Chelsea’s speaking engagements, for our friends and family and for God to do his will through our company. We’ve seen answered prayers and know that our relationship with God is strengthened each day as we pray.</p>
<p>“Pray without ceasing.” &#8211; 1 Thessalonians 5:17</p>
<p>5. Serve others. Jesus’ life was marked by a devotion to serving the poor, the needy and the friendless. As His followers, we are called to do the same.</p>
<p>Through Faithful Fish, we give a portion of all proceeds to charities like Compassion International. Additionally, Chelsea serves on various organizations’ boards and in community service groups.</p>
<p>“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” – John 13:14</p>
<p>“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” – Luke 4:18</p>
<p>&#8220;Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.&#8221; &#8211; James 1:27</p>

<h2><span style="font-family: Cambria;">Blessed to be a Part of PURE Ministries</span></h2>
<p>Wow!!! Has it really been a couple of months since my last blog? Things are so crazy exciting right now so, it is a great time to share with you about this wonderful ministry called “PURE” ministry. I am blessed to be a part of this ministry and it is so dear to my heart that, I have committed my time to be on the Board of Directors. This wonderful ministry seeks to help drive awareness to churches across the nation on about how to support and help those who have disabilities within their church family.</p>
<p>On April 20th PURE Ministries will be hosting a HUGE celebration concert at The Pete Hanna Center at Samford University in Birmingham at 7:30. There will be performances by Chris Tomlin, who sold 3.6 million albums (love him), and Genny Owens who is a three-time Dove award Winner. The speaker for the night will be David Nasser, Pastor of Christ City Church in Birmingham along with a video presentation featuring Kurt and Brenda Warner. Who could ask for more?!</p>

<p>Last Thursday I was with the team in Birmingham, Alabama to have a pre-meeting with all the volunteers (350) who are going to play a big role in helping with the celebration. While meeting everyone that night you could just feel the grace of God in the room putting His hand on everyone as we were starting the meeting and making all the plans.</p>
<p>The next day I was so blessed to go The Bell Center, which is an early intervention program. I met the Founder of the Center Mrs. Betty Bell who has been doing this for 27 years. We were able to tour the building and see all the kids in action. The wonderful PURE children are in a safe place where they are being taught on based on their needs. I fell in love with the kids right there and then. Just to see the smiles on their faces while they were learning and playing was so inspiring. For the rest of the day I had a huge smile on my face. We are all God’s children and are all blessed in some way but I believe that these PURE children truly show Gods love. I would like to finish this blog by saying “How great is our Go??!!! (Thought it was fitting to the blog since I wrote about Chris Tomlin)</p>

<h2>Thankful</h2>
<p>Thanksgiving is not all about the food to me. When I think about Thanksgiving I think about my whole family coming together for a great time and to have conversation about the past and how thankful we are to have such a close family. Now that I’m older and out of college I really get to think about my life and where I am now and how much God has blessed me and I thank him everyday for it. All my cousins are older and in college now. It’s great because we all have a different outlook on life and have really grown up and closer. I’m so thankful for them because I don’t have any brothers or sisters but being so close to all my cousins makes up for it. I’m looking forward for tomorrow  when we all come together and have another great year almost behind us. Take time today to think about what you are thankful for.</p>

<h2>Washington DC with Beacon College</h2>

<p>Hey everyone, first I need to start this blog off by saying I love WASHINGTON. It’s so beautiful and the people are so kind. Last week I got the great opportunity to go to Washington D.C with my alma mater, Beacon College for “The Beacon Experience.”  This event brought together different high schools in the area that teach teenagers with learning disabilities (LD). Wednesday was the night of the event after a long day of practicing and doing run-throughs. I was read to speak about my experience with having a LD myself and what school was like for me before I was lucky enough to have found Beacon College. I told my story about when I was little and how hard it was for me to learn. I was blessed to talk about founding Faithful Fish in 2005 and how I am able to use the tools I learned while attending Beacon College to run a successful business.</p>
<p>The event was awesome! The great news is I think we were able to make an impact on a lot of the students&#8211;many of them completed applications to attend Beacon next year! One thing that I really walked away with after coming back home from Washington is to not be afraid to let someone know you do not understand something. Everyone learns differently. Don’t let that hold you back from achieving your dreams.</p>

<p>Last month, I was honored to attend The Champions of the Faith Awards and Benefit Concert in Atlanta. The Premier Foundation held the concert as a fundraiser for the Premier Foundation and will now be an annual event held before the International Christian Retail Show. The Premier Foundation has granted over $3,000,000 to non-profit ministries and various charities over the past 12 years.</p>
<p>This event honored businesses, organizations, entertainers, individuals and Christian retailers and vendors who are “Champions” of the Christian faith, and live their lives dedicated to the principles taught by Jesus Christ. This inaugural event honored:</p>

<li>Sports Honoree: Trevor Bayne, NASCAR Driver</li>
<li>Charity Honoree: Richard Stearns, World Vision</li>

</ul>
<p>Can I just say that I was completely humbled to be in the presence of such giving champions. Each one has an amazing personal story about their walk and has dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ.</p>
<h2>Spring Break</h2>
<p>One of my good friends and I chaperoned her sister and friend on a cruise last week.  I know, I know what a great gig.   It was my first time on a cruise and it was exactly like you see on the commercials.  Everything was big, extravagant and new.</p>
<p>One of the ports that we went to was Jamaica where we took a shuttle to a beach.  We went through such poverty, it was the exact opposite of the ship.   Everyone was talking when we first got in the shuttle but as we drove it got quieter and quieter.  Everyone was just looking out the windows at shacks, garbage piled high and little kids walking down the road by themselves.  This is when I started my inner dialogue about how I should have gone on a mission trip and how I am not just lucky but truly blessed.  I started praying, praying that these people have a relationship with God because he provides hope, peace and grace.  That they may not have much right now but in heaven they will know happiness in every way.</p>
<p>Got home on Saturday and saw my Aunt Leanne on Sunday night at the grocery store.  Her daughter Katie did go on a mission trip to Peru for spring break and we were talking about how it affected her.  I shared with Aunt Leanne the poverty that I saw in Jamaica and she told me that she just got an email from her church that they were having a mission trip to Jamaica (OK, you can’t make this stuff up).  I am checking the schedule and will be signing up.</p>
<p>We need our faith even when we are being blessed, maybe even more because it is so easy to not think about God or thank him for the wonderful blessings that he has provided.</p>
<h2>Mom and the Lord</h2>
<p>When I was little baby I put all my trust in my mom and dad, and I always felt so safe and secure.  As I have gotten older, I have learned more about the Lord and put complete trust in Him to guide me. But I still have relationships with others and can put trust in my family, teachers and friends. God wants us to have relationships with others. I have been out of college for almost a year now and for the first time am really experiencing relationships with people on many different levels. I have been blessed with meeting some amazing people who have a heart for the Lord. But I have also had some situations that have made me question who I can trust and who I can’t. I have definitely been put in some challenging situations that I never even dreamed I would have to deal with. I sometimes feel like God is testing me.</p>
<p>Some of it has made me very sad, as it seems the older I get, the less I trust people. I will always trust my parents because they have always been there for me. But I am learning the hard way who I can trust and who I can’t. Don’t get me wrong&#8211;I have my very close friends that I will always be able to trust but there is that handful that you just have to say you can’t be my friend anymore. They aren’t worth having in your life. I will continue to pray for them but I can&#8217;t have them in my life on a daily basis.</p>
<p>I was thinking about it when I was running the other day trying to clear my head, that I can trust two people in my life with anything and that is 1# The Lord and #2 My Mom. The Lord will always stand by my side and help me do and say the right thing and to live my life as a faithful person. My mom will always have my back and as she says, “I won’t let anything happen to my baby girl.” (Even though I’m 23&#8211;lol!).</p>

<h2>Revolve Tour Update</h2>
<p>You may have read our earlier posts about the Revolve tickets we had for sale. When we were first presented with the opportunity, we were not sure if our marketing budget could afford to offer 300+ tickets at half price. But we prayed about it and really felt like it was the right thing to do. It offered the opportunity for many girls to attend who might not able able to afford the $80 ticket price. My Finance Manager&#8217;s daughter attends every year in Atlanta and just loves it. So we decided we had to do it. Well, the response has been overwhelming. We received this message from someone who purchased tickets for the Portland, Oregon event:</p>
<p>&#8220;Thanks so much for the tickets. Due to the price of the tickets I could have more girls attend because tickets were cheaper. That was a blessing.&#8221;</p>
<p>Revolve provides young girls the inspiration to become closer to God. What a blessing!</p>

<h2>Revolve Tour and Fresh Grounded Faith</h2>
<h4><span style="color: #000000;">February 7, 2010</span></h4>
<p>So all I can say about this weekend was it was crazy fun and just a great time to be had by all. Friday night I went with 50 cheerleaders to Revolve.   The Gwinnett Arena was packed with girls and moms. It was as you can imagine “very load” but in a really good way.  During the event the speakers were really relevant they and spoke in terms that reached this young audience.  You could feel the excitement, you could feel the Lord, it resonated with everyone.  Talk about a concert for Jesus.</p>
<p>On Saturday I went to Fresh Grounded Faith with Jennifer Rothschild.  Same thing but with older women&#8211;women who were in their 40’s and up. Interesting thing was that even though the two events were for two very different age groups, the excitement was still the same.  I felt so grateful to be a young woman, who knows the Lord, knows that I am on the right track.</p>
<p>You may know that I purchased 180 tickets for Revolve and am providing them to girls at half price.  I just felt in my heart that if someone couldn’t afford the full price there had to still be a way to go.  We still have some tickets available in Phoenix, Denver and Portland but they are going very quickly.</p>

<h2>Exciting News</h2>
<p>January 25, 2011</p>
<p>Hey guys, got some exciting news I’m moving out on Tuesday! My roommate and I ordered our cable and Internet today.  So at this point all I have is a hand towel rack and  I am building my décor around that “LOL”.</p>
<p>Things are so exciting&#8211;this weekend I am meeting Jennifer Rothschild from Fresh Grounded Women and then I am going with 56 young girls to the Revolve Tour at the Gwinnett Arena.  It will really be a great weekend.  It is so great to be surrounded by women and girls who are excited about their faith. They say it might snow on Thursday so I am praying that we don’t get ice like the week before.</p>
<p>I want to thank all of the girls from Girl Scout Troop 1164 out of California.  I Skyped with them on Friday to help them get their &#8220;Becoming a Teen&#8221; badge.  They were so great and had really good questions.  I have to say I felt a bit old though, I remember when I was a Girl  Scout which now seems years ago but really wasn’t too long ago. What a great bunch of girls!</p>

<h2>Winter Wonderland in the South</h2>
<p>January 13, 2011</p>
<p>Well as the last blog said, Atlanta was starting to freeze and now we have 5 inches of snow so we are now official frozen.  It’s fourth second day stuck inside the house. Roads are closed and I’m starting to go stir crazy.  Yesterday, when I woke up I  had a great idea  to take a little ski trip in my front yard.  Put on my ski’s and went down my mini slop with a huge smile on my face.  I was pretending to be back in Colorado.  It’s just amazing to think our Lord made this winter wonderland for us.  Yesterday as I was working, I couldn’t stop looking outside thinking it over and over again.</p>
<p>Atlanta is in a state of emergency because the roads are so bad.  All the main highways are shut down.  This saddens me because my church (<a href="http://www.mountbethel.org/">www.mtbethel.org</a>) has a new ministry where we take in the homeless off the streets and give them clothing, food, and a warm place to take a shower and sleep.  Everyone at church was so excited to help out this week knowing it was going to snow, but no one knew how bad it was going to be. Since all the main highways are shut down we have no other way to go get them, side roads are even worse with ice. We are praying that later today it might get a little better so that we can go get them.</p>

<h2>Revolve Tickets &#8211; Half Price and It Snows in Atlanta!</h2>
<p>January 12, 2011</p>
<p>Atlanta is starting to freeze, love the cold weather.  Today was just so such a great day.  Started with my morning devotional (read Renee Johnson’s – Devotional Diva) and drank my coffee which I do believe is a gift from God.   I interviewed a great candidate for a sales person for Faithful Fish and she was just so awesome and has such a passion for young people along with a great understanding of fashion and marketing.</p>
<p>We bought 180 Revolve tickets to five cities and are offering them at half price so that girls who can’t afford to go to Revolve now have a chance to attend this amazing event.  We have already sold 60 in Atlanta and I am actually going to go with the group who purchased the tickets (excited about that) and the 30 have been sold in Kansas.  We have 30 tickets left for Denver, Pheonix and Portland. <p>If you can believe it both the Revolve Tour and the Fresh Grounded Faith (Jennifer Rothschild) conference are in Atlanta the same weekend so I am going to Fresh Grounded Faith  on Friday and meeting Jennifer Rothschild and then onto Revolve on Saturday. I can&#8217;t wait &#8211; it is going to be such a great weekend.</p>
<p>I always try to think of one good thing for the day and today it is the weather.  It is cold in Atlanta and it just makes me happy.  I love the different seasons and with cold weather, we put on the fire and bundle up with a good movie.</p>

<p>Well guys I have graduated from college and am totally about Faithful Fish.  I am so excited about growing this business.  How much fun can one girl have selling clothes that glorify our love of God.  I need everyone’s help though.  I am reaching out to my Christian friends to asking you to wear Faithful Fish clothing.  Please tell your family and friends about this trendy Christian clothing line.  If anyone has any great marketing idea’s I am so open to listening to them.  As Faithful Fish grows it gives me a chance to give more money to charity.  I am not sure if people consider that a great business plan but it makes total sense to me. <p>This is a very personal blog but I wanted everyone to know how much God has helped me. I am graduating from college this Sunday and have been struggling with feeling so sad because my Dad won&#8217;t be there.  I know he is looking down from heaven but I just miss him so much.  I also miss all of my grandparents and my Uncle Rusty.  My Mom has really been working hard on making sure that I have a great graduation and my Aunt Karen was coming for the big day.  Well, my Mom just told me that my Aunt Karen has to have heart surgery and can&#8217;t make it.  That news has really been tough to take but this is where my love of the Lord has helped me once again.  I keep going to that place of understanding that God will help my family through this. God just doesn&#8217;t do these crazy things to us, He helps us through these crazy times. He is the one that you should praise when things are just overwhelming. He has been that Father for me over the past four years that I counted on in so many ways. Once again He is there for me and my family. I can reach out and pray for my Aunt Karen and feel at peace.</p>
<p>I was told that life is bitter sweet and I totally understand that but let me tell you the sweet is the understanding that God is there to help you and hold your heart.</p>
<p>Please pray for my Aunt Karen and anyone who is sick.</p>

<p>       So my spring break was so much fun. I didn’t get to go to the beach with friends. But instead I got to see Gods work first hand the whole week.  The first day of spring break I got home really late.  The next day I was really excited because I got to see my cousin Paige got to her senior prom!  Boy do I feel old.  She looked amazing it was just great to be there and see all of her friends all dressed up. </p>
<p>       I headed to Arkansas on  Monday but and I’m up at 4:00 in the morning to head out and Oh Man I was I sleepy the rest of the day. Happy to say that I did get to sleep a little bit earlier that night “Yeah”.  Next morning was the BIG day to go and see Kerusso’s headquarters.  Kerusso is a Christian tee company that has a gift for sharing God’s love one tee shirt at a time.   They have partnered with “Wear It Wednesday&#8211;now that is God’s Love at Work.  The whole day was just amazing and they were so nice. When I pulled up to the campus they had my name on the huge screen outside I was like “AAAHHH” way cool. The whole day was jam-packed with fun and meetings/meeting all kinds of different people that work from Kerusso. The first meeting of the day was the biggest meeting. And that was the one I was the most nervous for. I had the whole sales team that I was speaking in front of, I also had people on Skype. Now come on if that doesn’t make you nervous that what does? I had just a great time getting to know everyone there, they where soo just great. The rest of the week things just keep falling in place.</p>
<p>          Think about this, here is this huge Christian company and they are successful because kids like us want to wear our faith.  We get that it cloaks us in the word and it just allows us to share the joy of our faith.</p>
<p>        Flew back home and had a meeting with Jason my youth pastor again and he was just amazing and loved the whole Wear it Wednesday idea.  Jason and his team are willing to do some videos for  us which is just a huge blessing because it will show everyone how much fun Wear it Wednesday is going to be and what a difference everyone can make in the world and show people how much fun Christians can be. To rap up my spring break 2010, spent Saturday with my mom and just relaxed before going back to school!!!!</p>

<p>Some great things are really starting to happen with Wear it Wednesday. Keep coming back for updates. I’m so excited &#8211; I’ve made a new Christian friend! Ya’ll should take a look at her blog and daily devotions &#8211; www. devotionaldiva.com.  I will be seeing her in a few weeks at the “Student Leadership Conference” in Orlando . Today at school was crazy; more drama-got to love life. So glad I got to turn in my YO-YO paper J. I’m glad to say that the weekend is right around the corner! One of my favorite Bible verses.</p>

<h2>January 1, 2010</h2>
<p>I know it has been awhile since I&#8217;ve blogged. We have had many wonderful things going on and with working and getting through my senior year at Beacon College, there is only so much time! But first &#8211; Happy New Year to everyone! Second, thank you to all you for another successful year for Faithful fish. With your help, we have been able to donate funds to Fellowship of Christian Athletes. We have lots of exciting news for 2010 so look for a huge announcement coming towards the end of the first quarter! I wanted to share a story with you that shows that we can all make a difference &#8211; one person at a time.</p>
<p>I was at a friend&#8217;s party over the weekend and everyone was having an awesome time. I was with a few of my friends standing outside and talking when faith came into our conversation. We were talking about what it mean to be faithful to us and how we feel about the Lord. I’m thinking to myself&#8211;this is amazing. I&#8217;m at a college party and we are talking about faith and the Lord&#8211;alright!!</p>
<p>We all went and sat down at a table and began to get in to the conversation a little bit more. Then one of my friends turned to me and started to ask me some personal questions about faith and really what it means for me. I told him how I felt about how it and how made me feel. Then he looked at me and said, “I have never believed in anything but for the past few months I have been doing a lot of thinking about my faith and what I really want to do.”</p>
<p>He said to me that he wants to become more faithful and look into the Lord and see what the Lord will mean to him. My friend also said that he was going to do some research about the Christian faith and how to start becoming a Christian. That whole time it touched my heart knowing that the Lord will have one more follower and I know that my friend is going to be having a wonderful blessed life!</p>

<p>WOW!!! What a summer.  It has been just amazing and I totally enjoyed<br />
helping the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.</p>
<p>I still can&#8217;t believe that I was blessed to be on FOX &amp; Friends, Dave Ramsey&#8217;s TV &amp; Radio<br />
show along with Good Morning Atlanta.  My favorite saying is that it is all<br />
&#8220;God Media&#8221;.</p>
<p>Well, I am now in my last year of college and it is just great seeing my old<br />
friends.  I have to get back into the swing of studying and that as we all<br />
know for me will be hard.  My mentor has already told me I have to buckle<br />
down. I had to laugh, I mean I have only been in school for a day.</p>
<p>Faithful Fish is really growing and to everyone who wears the shirts and<br />
supports our company a BIG THANKS.</p>
<p>I wish everyone a great new year back at school.</p>
<p>Remember now, I always try and end my blogs with one positive thing so&#8230;.</p>
<p><strong>Good Thought for the Day</strong> &#8211; Kindness is something that you can do everyday<br />
and it doesn&#8217;t cost a penny, but can make a persons day and is priceless to<br />

<p class="blogSubject">Guys, my friends were in town from school this weekend and I spent the night at my best friend Taylor&#8217;s house so I didn&#8217;t read my mail on Saturday.  I went straight to church this morning and when I got back to the house I finally sat down and took a look at the mail.</p>
<p>BLESSINGS ABOUND  &#8220;Ignite Your Faith&#8221; featured a whole page, &#8220;YES&#8221; a whole page on Faithful Fish.  I am so jazzed and people are already emailing me and sending me myspace invites.  The writer was just great and she really got me and I am just so happy.</p>
<p>I just want to be able to make this company so big that I can give away so much money that it will change lives.  Kids need to be given the gift of knowing the Lord and my prayers are that Faithful Fish will be that profit line for those ministires.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY &#8211; You know it is interesting how hard this one can be for me,  Since Sunday is the Lord&#8217;s day of rest go ahead and sit on the couch, play with your friends or kids.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Boy, the weekend is finally here.  The weather is awesome here in Atlanta and I am about to go out and walk my dog for a while.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know about all of you, but I am so sick of hearing all of the bad news and it is just getting me down.  You know there really is good stuff going on, even though I am so very sad for everyone who isn&#8217;t working, 90% are working and we need to help those who aren&#8217;t working out. Churches are becoming even more full because we all go home when we are scared and we need to feel safe.  Why don&#8217;t we try and only talk about the good stuff.  Say something nice about someone, share a great story.  They say things only start with one person so let&#8217;s be that one person.</p>
<p>God wants us to be joyous and it is up to us to personally try to do that.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY &#8211; Only say good things today and don&#8217;t watch any of the news.</p>

<div class="blogSubject">Hi Guys, I was introduced to a great new person today named Susan Conley.  Susan is just launching her new company &#8220;weROCK, Inc.  Whoops!!! I read her summary and was just in awe.  We both think the same way about our faith.  There is a big launch luncheon on Tuesday and I am looking forward to going to the event.</div>
<p>I took my Cameron Johnson course today.  I listened to one of his conference calls, the guy is a genius and is just so normal and did I say good looking.  He is someone that everyone should pay close attention to.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY -  Well the water is out at my house today and tomorrow and you just don&#8217;t realize how much you use water (bathroom, brush teeth, cook etc&#8230;.)  I went to the store and bought some water bottles (big ones). Imagine if we lived in a place where you can&#8217;t turn on a tap?  We are blessed and sometimes just don&#8217;t realize it.  So good thought for the day, try and save water in your house.  When you brush your teeth turn the water off while brushing, do little things, let&#8217;s save the world</p>

<p class="blogSubject">My Aunt and I drove down to Amelia Island today for a funeral.  My poor Mom was going to go, but she got that crazy flu.  Mary Hillyer and I are going to dinner with all of my Aunt Patty&#8217;s friends and I just want the whole dinner to be about her. </p>
<p>The funeral is in the morning and then we will drive back to Atlanta.  I have a business meeting at 8:00 on Wednesday and can&#8217;t miss it.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY &#8211; Tough one today, but the weather is great here in Florida and the beach looks so pretty.  Even if you are up to your hips in snow just look out and see the beauty of the day, the Earth.  Sounds corney I know, you know I am corney.  But try it.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">My cousin and her friends went to prom this weekend.  Cracked me up, because you might have thought that the way my Aunt and her friends were acting you would have thought they were going to prom.</p>
<p>Katie started crying, Paige wouldn&#8217;t wear her dress and Aunt Karen had to get a new one and those were just a few of the highlights.  I will say that at the end of the drama the girls looked beautiful and their dates were so cute and nice.  I loved all of the parents taking pictures.  It is at times like this when I miss my Dad.  I remember him not being there for my prom, but my mom and Aunt Karen were there.</p>
<p>I called Paige up on Sunday aftermoon and she said she had a great time.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - This one is to stay on subject , let the drama go.  Lighten up, if not for you, for others.  Your day will be better.<br />

<p class="blogSubject"><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">It is a sad day today.  My Aunt Patty&#8217;s (not my real Aunt) Mom passed away today.  I am so sad for her, I know what it is like to lose a parent.  I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers today. She needs us to be there for her now more than ever.</span></p>
<div><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">Oh my gosh though, I keep thinking about the big Mega Book event that I will be speaking at in June right in Disney World.  What a dream come true, I grew up in Orlando and went to Disney all of the time and now here I am going to be speaking there (who would have thunk &#8220;ha, ha&#8221;.</span></div>
<div><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">One of the students at Mill Springs Academy (where I went to high school) asked  me to answer a couple of questions for her school paper.  It was so cute that she asked me.  They were great questions and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she get&#8217;s an A.  Wouldn&#8217;t it be terrible if she failed based on my answers.</span></div>
<div><span style="background-color: #ffffff;">GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY &#8211; I have said this one before, but with my Aunt Patty&#8217;s Mom dying I had to say it again.  Hug all those that you love, if you haven&#8217;t talked to a friend for a while give them a quick call and tell them you were thinking of them.  Write a note to an older person, it would make them so happy.</span></div>

<p class="blogContent">Hi Guys, just another day.  The weather is awesome here in Atlanta, I even thought about putting the air on (can you imagine?).  I worked most of the day and had a conference call with Mark Victor Hansen&#8217;s group.  There is just a ton  of stuff going on.  Kent Healy sent me the rough draft for my part of the new Chicken Soup for the Soul book and I made some revisions.</p>
<p>Guys, I don&#8217;t think I can watch the TV anymore, especially the news.  It is just so depressing. But remember, God has a plan for all of us. We have to be patient..he will reveal it when he is ready!</p>
<p>GOOD NEWS FOR THE DAY:  Don&#8217;t watch the money channels.  It won&#8217;t make a difference.  Watch I Love Lucy, read a book (from the library) read a couple of passages from your favorite part of the bible.  Heck, just read a People magazine.</p>

<p class="blogContent">What a great weekend.  As you all know I am a fashion hound and I was blessed on Saturday to meet Tim Gunn from Project Runway! He talked about style and accessories.  The VP of Liz Claiborne introduced me to him and we talked about Faithful Fish.  He was just as nice as he is in the show and gave me some great advise.</p>
<p>Saturday evening we went to dinner at my Aunt Karen&#8217;s and planned out our Paris trip.  My Uncle Andrew, the intellect in the family, had us visiting every museum around, I finally had to say &#8220;Wait a minute, this is not a study abroad program&#8221;! We did make him laugh.  I told him I wanted to look at design houses and go to the beautiful churches.</p>
<p>Service this morning was so thoughtful.  My minister talked about what do you build your life around (money, fame, gossip, etc&#8230;)  It made me think about what I have to work on.  My biggest issue is being selfish, I am not selfish in giving or praying for the best for all of my friends, but selfish in always wanting it my way.  I&#8217;m an only child which I have used as the reason for my behavior, but it is wrong.  I am truly going to work on this.</p>
<p>GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY  &#8211; Think of how you would like to be better and pick one thing that you will make an effort to change.  How great will we feel when we all help ourselves become better.</p>
<p>Pray for our country.</p>

<p class="blogContent">Hi Guys, I got up early this morning and went to Dodgen Middle School to help with their morning FCA huddle.  It cracks me up, here I am only 21, but I am looking at these middle schoolers thinking &#8220;I am old&#8221;.  We played games and finished in prayer. Now that is the way to start a great day.</p>
<p>I worked all day on Faithful Fish, Easter orders are coming in and we actually ran out of hats (bad inventory process).  Anyway, the day went so fast.</p>
<p>I am working out tonight with a trainer &#8220;A girls gotta look good&#8221; and then I am going to come home and crash.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day -  How you start your day seems to be how your whole day will be.  So, guys before you get out of bed take a moment and thank God for your blessings and then say to yourself  &#8220;It is going to be A GREAT DAY&#8221;.  I know it sounds corny, but my Mom started me doing this years ago and it really helps.</p>

<p>OH MY GOSH!!! What a trip, it was just so overwhelming IN A GOOD WAY.</p>
<p>Even though I met amazing people who were authors and inspirational speakers I will have to say the people at Trader Joe&#8217;s were the best.  Now you might say &#8220;WHAT&#8221;.  Saturday evening we decided to go to the beach for dinner.  I went with my Mom , Martina Butler and her Dad.  It was about 6:00 and all of a sudden Martina screamed and we were hit broadside by a truck.  We were OK, but I had a huge goose egg on my head and had a cut.</p>
<p>I was sitting on the side of the road and all of a sudden this young guy shows up with some Trader Joe&#8217;s frozen pea&#8217;s for my head (so sweet).  Then another Trader Joe&#8217;s guy shows up with water and juice.  The accident was by the store and they came to my rescue.  The paramedic&#8217;s said I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance so the Trader Joe&#8217;s guys gave my Mom snacks for the wait.  They were just so nice.  I had to have an MRI and a CAT scan, but they let me go.  My neck still hurts a bunch and my eye is black, but I am OK (God is good).<br />
I was in LA to speak at Mr. Mark Victor Hansen&#8217;s Mega Book event.  I was very nervous, but Mr. Hansen really made me feel comfortable.  It was just great to be able to share with everyone the story of how my faith helped me through my losses.</p>
<p>OK, last summer I was trying to be positive and writing a good thought for the day and I think it is high time for me to start back up.</p>
<p>So here we go - everyone is tense and worried about jobs and money so take a moment out turn off the TV and throw on a good tune.  Crank up the Ipod and sing on the top of your lungs.</p>

It has been a busy week (in a good way). I have been getting ready for Cali, going to my speaking coach to help with my speeches, I have been calling stores to see if i can get Faithful Fish in boutiques, helping out with morning breakfast at church for the middle school kids as well as helping FCA put info in their data base, and as well as trying to get over my cold. Going to church tomorrow to be apart of Sisters in Christ. It is where a lot of women speakers come and talk about their walk through Christ. I&#8217;m looking forward to hearing their different stories. I know they are going to be inspirational! In the afternoon I&#8217;m helping my cousin prom dress shopping. Wish us luck to find the best one. Well got to get back to work, I&#8217;m on my way to the post office to ship some Faithful Fish orders &#8211; yeah!<br />

Well Im getting myself ready to go back to Cali next week. I starting put some of my outfits together! I started going to acting class to help with my speechs that I give about Faithful Fish and Wear It Wednsday! I started getting a cold a few days ago and its not getting any better <img src='http://blog.faithfulfish.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  (sad times in my life). I just hope Ill be all better before I leave For Cali!! Tonight im going to see the movie Confessions of A Shoppaholic with my friend Kenzie, I can&#8217;t wait im so excited to see all her great outfits!!!!! Sorry i havent been blogging, but im back in action! Im home from school for a bit working with Faithful Fish and help with FCA (Fellowship of Christain athletes) Im sooo excited. About a year ago i got the news that Mark Victor Hansen Co- editor of Chicken Soup For the Soul wanted to put me in his next book!!!!<img src="http://x.myspace.com/images/blog/smileys/hopeful.gif" alt="" /> So Last weekend i went to California to meet him and some other kids that are going to be in the book as well. When i was there i spoke in front of around 200 people. and told them about Faithful Fish. Also when i was there i meet Art Linkletter from Kids Say the Darnest Things. He was really funny telling us the story from when he was on that show. Going to Cali was soo much fun.im going back to Cali the end of this month (Can&#8217;t wait ).  Well everyone have a great day and I&#8217;ll talk to yall later!<br />

<p class="blogSubject"><font color="#000000">Guys, thanks for all of the AWESOME messages.  Some of them are just so funny and some of them are truly inspirational.  I was even sent a message from a 7th grader in LA who did a school report on Faithful Fish.  I was just so honored to have this young person think that Faithful Fish was cool enough for a homework assignment. We have traded messages and I have to say that she is just a great young person. </font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">I need your help though, the national &#8220;Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221; &#8220;Wear Your Faith Wednesday&#8221; needs to have the word spread throughout the country.  Please check the site out Daretowearyourfaith.com and register and then  send on an email with the link to your friends who are passionate about their faith.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">What with all of the bad news going on in our great country we need to have our faith around us all of the time.  The great news about faith is that it not only gives you joy and happiness, but it is FREE.  Sure, we tithe, but to have something with you to help you in your day 24/7 is about the best money you could spend.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Good Thought For The Day &#8211; Today is the start of the week and wouldn&#8217;t it be great if you did something nice every day this week.  Just a little something, maybe say &#8220;Hi&#8221; to someone who looks down, bring in a batch of cookies to school or work, clean up the kitchen for your Mom, give an older neighbor a Thanksgiving card.  By the end of the week you will have given yourself a gift.  You will feel really great about yourself.  I am going to take one of the girls in school today to lunch, she is still having a hard time here and I remember being new at school (no fun).</font></p>

<p class="blogSubject"><font color="#000000">Hi Guys, I am feeling extra sassy today.  My ribs are feeling way better and I can go back to the gym to work out.  A girl&#8217;s gotta keep in shape to stay healthy, weathly and wise (at least that is what someone said).</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">My poor cousin Mary Hillyer had a car accident.  She is fine, but old Betsy (the car) is done, baked and put a fork in it.  MH also did some damage to the other car.  I didn&#8217;t even ask what Aunt Patty said, because I knew she would be very mad at MH.  This is her first accident and she is in college, so I thought that she had done very well.  I on the other hand had three accidents before I went to college.  Two were my fault and one was the other drivers fault.  It is the insurance that will bring you to tears after having so many accidents.  I know I am that driver that you just want to yell at.  I go five miles under the limit have my blinker on way too early.  I am still a tad bit spooked.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000"> I read a verse out of the bible last night.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">&#8220;Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.&#8221;  Proverbs 4:25</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">This one made me think, I have been broken hearted about a few boys and when I look back, I think &#8220;WHY&#8221;.  This verse made such sense to me, think about it.  We research getting the best deal on the new designer purse we want, but we don&#8217;t do any research on the boy we are about to go out with.  I don&#8217;t mean a background check or anything (can you imagine!!!)., but before you jump into anything you should know his friends, figure out does he like his family??? BIG ONE</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Oh, wait a minute, let&#8217;s get back to being sassy, frassy.  A little light hearted thought for the day.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Good Thought for The Day &#8211; For the girls, go and buy your favorite mags and circle all the new styles you love. Not sure what you buys should do, but going back to the girls.  Cut the items out and stick them onto paper, keep them in a book and when you shop you will know exactly what you liked from the mag.  You know how it is, you come home from shopping and you have three items, but not one outfit.  Then when you go out all you say is &#8220;I have nothing to wear&#8221;</font></p>

<p class="blogSubject"><font color="#000000">Hi Guys, I am in the best mood today.  The weather is great, I am caught up on my studies and have lost 3lbs.  Really it is the losing 3lbs that make the day great &#8220;yuck, yuck&#8221;.  We girls gage how our days will be either by our weight or hair, not a good thing, but it is what it is.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Thanksgiving is almost here and I can&#8217;t wait to go home and chill out with family and friends.  I have the whole week off which is AWESOME.  Since I am on a work/internship next semester in Atlanta, I am going to be taking all my stuff home in my car.  I will go back with one suit case, well maybe not one, but three, or four (stop me).</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Last week was the anniversary of my Dad&#8217;s passing.  It was a a quite day, I talked to my Mom a ton and we prayed.  It has been four years, to think I was 17, it really seems like it just happened.  My Mom told me that he was just a great Dad.  Mom lost Nanny four weeks before Dad passed so we both are in the same place.  I miss them all, but know that they are in heaven.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Good Thought For The Day &#8211; Don&#8217;t procrastinate, I say this because I have to get everything packed to go home.  My normal way would be to wait until the day before, but I am actually doing some pre-packing.  I feel like I am in control.  So try out not procrastinating, on a personal note don&#8217;t procrastinate on asking that certain girl for a date, or reach out to that friend you have been fighting with.</font></p>

<p class="blogSubject"><font color="#000000">Hi Guys, what a week.  On Sunday, I fell upstairs &#8220;Huh, you might say&#8221;.  Yes, us Southern girls fall upstairs instead of downstairs &#8220;Yuck, Yuck&#8221;.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">I had my hands full and I was going up the stairs when I triped and all 6ft of me fell down on the concrete stairs.  The left side of my rib cage went directly into the stair.  I cried like I was a five year old, I mean I couldn&#8217;t catch my breath.  My dear friends all came over and made me dinner.  For three days I was in pain until finally I tried to get into a doctor here in my tiny college town, but there were no openings.  I went to the emergecy room (quite an experience) and I have a fractured rib.  I knew I was hurting.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Well I have to say, I did milk it for a couple of days.  Had the boys hold my books and all.  It was quite delightful.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">What a week, a new President and many new House and Senate members.  My Mom and I prayed for the country.  I know that some folks are sad, it will get better, but more importantly I know everyone who voted really wants our new President to be successful. </font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Good Thought For The Day &#8211; Today is Saturday &#8220;COLLEGE FOOTBALL&#8221; rages all day &#8220;YEAH&#8221;.  Watch a college game with friends and family.  It will get out all of your frustrations when you yell for your team.  Hi-Five all those touch-downs.</font></p>

<p class="blogSubject">Guys, the day has finally arrived.  Fingers are crossed, folks are in line, hearts are pounding and people are excited &#8220;YEAH, YEAH&#8221; there is no better way to be part of our great United States than to vote.</p>
<p> All that being said, I am on my way to go shopping.  I have been really, really good with my budget this semester.  It is tough to not buy what I want, but when I do buy something it is something I really want.  Everyone is just so depressed about the economy.  My Mom and I talked about it and she told me that she thinks it is a good thing &#8220;WHAT&#8221; yep, a good thing. </p>
<p>Mom gave me one of her old folks stories (she has many) this one is about my grandparents.  She told me that they saved up for every piece of furniture they had and paid cash.  That was the reason none of their bedroom pieces matched.  By the time they had saved up the money the original style was discontinued.  By the way, they kept their furniture for 40 years and didn&#8217;t change stuff out.  She said that maybe this was God helping us understand that material things aren&#8217;t that important and that we have lost the gift of wanting something.  By that she means we buy everything on charge cards right away so we don&#8217;t ever have that feeling of waiting for something and then the pride of being able to buy it.</p>
<p>I thought about our conversation for a couple of days and remembered when we cleaned out both my sets of grandparents house that everything was old (in a good way).  I guess it is good that things are slowing down, but I pray for everyone to be able to provide for their family. </p>
<p>Good Thought For The Day &#8211; I am going to be totally sassy on this one.  Since it is just a great day to be an American wear something red, white and blue.  Of course I have a very cute outfit on with a hint of red (told you it would be sassy).</p>

<p><font color="#000000">Lot&#8217;s of things going on.  There is so much excitment in the air what with the elections only being six days away, the weather changing and halloween coming up.  You can just feel the buzz all around you.</font></p>

<p class="blogSubject"><font color="#000000">Hi Guys, I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I have to give a total shout out to Brandon Apon, a high school senior who spoke at a Christian concert in Canton on behalf of the &#8220;Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221; campaign.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">You won&#8217;t believe this, but he was driving down the highway when the back window blew out, &#8220;YES&#8221; blew out.  He called my Mom to say he would be late, but he made it in time.  Mom was worried about his safety, but he was so calm and confidant that he would be OK.  This is a student who is so faithful, he is one of eight brothers and sisters which is so different than me (only child).  I can&#8217;t wait to meet him.</font></p>
<p><font color="#000000">Good Thought for the Day &#8211; This is my first year to vote and I have really been out there putting signs out and campaigning for my pick.  I will be an absentee voter for Georgia.  I feel great about voting, it makes me feel so American, so part of a great country.  I know that sounds a little apple pie, but it is so important to vote.  Each and every vote counts, along with the fact that you are now officially a grown up.</font></p>

<p><strong>Saturday, October 25, 2008 -Christian Band Revive &#8220;Rocked</strong></p>

<p class="blogSubject">Boy, it has been a couple of days since I blogged.  You can always tell when I am up to my eye balls in home work. </p>
<p>On Wednesday, I drove into Orlando to see the Chaplin of the Dallas Cowboy&#8217;s.  He was just so inspirational, every time I go and see people give their testimony I am always just so in awe of them.  I keep praying that I will get better, it is really hard to talk in front of people.  I know people say &#8220;Oh, the Lord will help&#8221;, but I have to say, I think he wants me to really work on this.</p>
<p>Last night I drove with my cousins to see the Christian band Revive playing at the Longwood Baptist Church.  They have partnered with the &#8220;Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221; campaign.  I called my Mom while they were playing and giving testimony.  Talk about a great band, they really rock it out.  I met one of their wives, and she was so cute and nice.</p>
<p>Good Thought for The Day &#8211; When I drove to see the Chaplin of the Cowboys, I got caught in traffic and was about 45 mins late.  I was meeting my Aunt and Uncle and was really just wired up.  I felt that I couldn&#8217;t walk into the Church until I had calmed down.  I wanted to be able to take it all in, so I called my Mom and we prayed together over the phone.  It was just a little one minute prayer, but it did the trick.  My good thought for the day is to say little prayers all through the day, just prayers of thanks.  It helps me so much.  So as the old song goes &#8220;Say a little prayer for me&#8221; I think that was a Marvin Gaye song.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Fun, Faithful, Friday,  Life is good, the weekend is here and I am just going to totally relax.  Crazy good news though, you know that we are partnering with the Christian band Revive, well their record company has agreed to give &#8220;The Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221; campaign free downloads of their music and they are looking into free ring tones &#8220;OH, YES&#8221; free ring tones.  We are working on driving registration to the site and when their new CD drops they will then give us the music and tones.  Thank you Lord.</p>
<p>So, what are you guys up to?  Does anyone have anything really fun coming up, please let me know.   I promise I won&#8217;t be jealous, well, maybe a little &#8220;yuck, yuck&#8221;</p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day &#8211; Really the fact that it is Friday is a good thought.  So here we go, make plans with your friends and have a great time.  Friday night is such a great night, you still have the whole weekend left to have fun, it is like a getting a gift every week. </p>
<p>Please try and make Sunday service a part of that fun weekend.  That is an awesome way of ending the week.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Hi little peep&#8217;s, how do you like the new  color&#8217;s on Myspace, aren&#8217;t they cute.  My cousin Sarah made the changes, she is just AWSOME at that stuff, very creative. </p>
<p>Oh My Gosh!!! I forgot to tell you yesterday, remember when my mid-terms were going on and I was just totally stressed out, well I just received my grades and I made a B in History and A&#8217;s on my other tests.  YEAH, now I will say if I had to take the test again I would probably fail.  I just have no memory retention of any sort.</p>
<p>Great news, the Christian band Revive is on the &#8220;Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221; website and they have given us a couple of free songs that you guys can download.  The songs will be on the site in a week.  You can send the link to all of your friends to get the free download &#8220;WE LOVE FREE&#8221;.  They are having a great time being the front band for Third Day.</p>
<p>Good Thought For The Day &#8211; Since Fall is here I have been going through my closet, which I am embarrased to say is HUGE, but I am taking all of the stuff I don&#8217;t wear to Must Ministries.  So when you guys go through your closets give the stuff to your local ministries.  It will help, but more importantly you will really feel good about yourself.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Guys, I am going to be volunteering at Girls Inc.  This is a great organization whose main goal is to help girls with their self-esteem and work with them on building businesses and help them work towards  going to college.  They have asked me to present business cases and idea&#8217;s.</p>
<p>My friend Casey Skinner from the American Model show just sent me an email and he is starting his own production company.  He is also working on the fourth season of the Model show,  I sent him an email saying that here we are just  a couple of kids from Mill Springs Academy who God has blessed.</p>
<p>I know that God does bless those who have been given hardship.  My Mom always tells me that hardship is another layer of character.  If you have no layers you can&#8217;t have empathy or true sympathy.  Let me just say this, I have so many layers I  must be an onion &#8220;hah, hah&#8221;.  If you don&#8217;t laugh you will cry. (just going along with the onion theory).</p>
<p>Blessed are the weak, when you think of that saying &#8211; what does it mean to you? If you help someone out not only are you helping that person, but you are helping yourself and giving yourself layers &#8220;like that onion&#8221;.</p>
<p>Well, way to deep, let&#8217;s go to something frothy and fun.  I am designing some new tee&#8217;s for FCA and they are over the top cute.  The boys graphics are rock&#8217;in. </p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day -  When things are going really bad, you can at any time take a moment out and give it to the Lord.  Taking some quite time (5 mins) and just saying a prayer for help or happiness gives you strength.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Boy, am I glad to be back at school.  I totally loved my trip, seeing Genna and Georgie was great, but I have such good friends that it is easy to miss them. &#8221;</p>
<p>It does look like I will taking off school next semester to volunteer for the FCA organization and to work on &#8220;Dare To Wear Your Faith&#8221;.  The web company just sent out the registration file and it is moving along.  The faithful are bringing their friends on board.  I really want to jazz up the site and have the ability to send out daily devotionals and Good Thoughts for the day via text to everyone&#8217;s cell and pc, then have free screen pages for use on Myspace.</p>
<p>Way, Way too many idea&#8217;s  and not enough time.  That is why I am really excited about being able to work on the campaign.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the day &#8211; One of my best friends is dating a really great guy, but as we all know &#8220;Great Guys&#8221; aren&#8217;t the ones we like the best.  So, this one is for the &#8220;Good Guys&#8221; out there.  Girls, if you are fortunate enough to tag one, don&#8217;t throw him back &#8220;yuck, yuck&#8221; listen to your friends.  We are screaming, &#8220;HE&#8217;S A GREAT GUY&#8221; </p>

<p class="blogSubject">I am exhausted, I had an awesome time in LV, but the time difference, going out late to dinner and the concert just made me exhausted.  Two nights in a row we were out late.  You lose your sense of time there and don&#8217;t even realize how late it is.  I only stayed two nights, but I am done, put a fork in it and call it cooked.</p>
<p>I have to laugh though, here I am this young college 21 year old and I am just moaning about being tired.  I will get into Orlando late in the evening, so I will be staying at the Hyatt in the airport. &#8220;Yes&#8221; life is good. </p>
<p>I did miss Church this Sunday, but I always have my little devotional with me.  So when I am on the plane I will take some time to read that. </p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day &#8211; To stay with the theme of the day, get more sleep. I know this one is kind of silly, but you (or I) have to have a good nights sleep.  You get cranky if you are tired and who wants to be around someone like that.</p>
<p>Oh, I forgot to tell you that Faithful Fish will be on the homepage of Alloy.com on Oct, 13th.  How on earth could I have forgotten that (because I am so darned tired).  Check it out and let me know what you think.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Guy&#8217;s, I am a huge Beatles fan.  My Mom and all her family were born in Liverpool, England which means of course I  grew up with the Beatles tunes playing in the background.  My one Great Aunt Ann owned a pub in Liverpool.  My little pound puppy is called &#8220;Penny Lane&#8221; after one of their great songs.  So as my BIG GIFT for my 21st birthday I was given &#8220;Love&#8221; tickets for the Cirque DeSoile in Las Vegas, Whoops!!! did I say  &#8221;Las Vegas&#8221; Yep, I sure did. </p>
<p>I have to say I was a little scared and excited all at the same time.  I am meeting my best friend from kindergarden (Genna) and her brother (Georgie Jr) to celebrate both Genna and me turning 21. </p>
<p>Now you might ask yourself &#8220;what&#8217;s a sweet little southern Christian girl doin&#8217; in Las Vegas&#8221;, but that is the beauty of being faithful.  We are just regular people who go out and are able to have a ton of fun, but not get trashed.  Now that is not to say that Genna and Georgie won&#8217;t because they WILL.  The good news is that they know not to give me grief about it all.  They respect who I am and know that I will still have fun and be a ton of fun.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day, accept people for who they are. When you are with your friends try and compliment the things that you love about them.  You don&#8217;t have to go over board, just say one thing.  It will make them feel good.</p>
<p>Say your prayers for me in Vegas, I am only there for two days so it will be fun.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">WOW!!!!  WOW!!!!  WOW!!!!</p>
<p>Last night was the big night for the FCA&#8217;s &#8220;Fields of Faith&#8221; throughout the country.  Young high school kids and middle schools kids came to fields around the country and praised the Lord with joy and happiness. </p>
<p>My Mom went to Fellowship Christian and she shared with me that the testimonies were just over the top.   There was only one location in Gainesville, Florida, but there were many, many sites in and around Atlanta, Georgia.</p>
<p>Guys, I finished my mid-terms, I am going into my room and putting on a party dress to go out and have a really nice dinner to celebrate.  Now the only question I have to answer is &#8220;What shoes should I wear?&#8221; and frankly, that totally works for me.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the Day &#8211; I will say, easier and easier. I think you all may know that I am a tad bit shy, but lately I have made a real pact with myself to say &#8220;Hi&#8221; to everyone I walk past.  &#8220;Yes&#8221; some folks think I might be a bit weird, but it is really fun.  The only thing I have to do now is get that eye contact down.  The reason this is a good thought is that if you say &#8220;Hi&#8221; to me first I will feel better thus, MY GOOD THOUGHT FOR THE DAY is a little selfish which is why it maybe becoming easier  &#8220;yuck, yuck&#8221;|.</p>

<p>Last night was so much fun, I went to dinner with a ton of friends and they just treated me to a great night.  I kept telling them that I had to get home early because of my last mid-term.  Needless to say, I was home around 1:30.</p>
<p>Please say a prayer for me on my last test which is history and I am bad, really bad at remembering the dates.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the day &#8211; This one comes from that history mid-term.  I know I have done all of the hard work to make the grade and done the very best that I can do for that grade.  So if  you have always tried your very best, then just give it to the Lord and it takes the weight off your shoulders.</p>

<p class="blogSubject">Hi Guys, today is my 21st birthday and I am happy and sad all at the same time.  I am in the middle of mid-terms which can make the nicest of southern girls a little sour.  Actually, I am sad about my Dad not being here for this big birthday.  I think of him every day and know he is in heaven, but I really, really miss him on my birthday.  Really, I miss him the most when little things come up, air in my tires (Mom doesn&#8217;t know that) watching the Gator&#8217;s score a touchdown.  Both Uncle Rusty and my Dad loved and I mean loved the Gators.  That&#8217;s one of the reasons I watch football.</p>
<p>My Mom was chair volunteer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Tennis Mixer, fundraiser in Marietta today and we had talked about her not coming.  I was totally fine with it until last night.  Then I realized I was turning 21 and didn&#8217;t have my family with me.  I love my family, God gave me the best family that one could ever ask for.</p>
<p>Good Thought for the day &#8211; Today this one is easy, call your parents, hug your parents, love your parents.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a commandment to obey them, but it&#8217;s God&#8217;s gift to love them.</p>
