BBB-Blessed Beyond Belief – June 24,2010

Well guys I have graduated from college and am totally about Faithful Fish.  I am so excited about growing this business.  How much fun can one girl have selling clothes that glorify our love of God.  I need everyone’s help though.  I am reaching out to my Christian friends to asking you to wear Faithful Fish clothing.  Please tell your family and friends about this trendy Christian clothing line.  If anyone has any great marketing idea’s I am so open to listening to them.  As Faithful Fish grows it gives me a chance to give more money to charity.  I am not sure if people consider that a great business plan but it makes total sense to me. We have lots of exciting things happening – new girls  &  ladies shirts, a toddler line and jewelry! Help a young college grad out (and someone in need!)

WOW!!! What a summer.  It has been just amazing and I totally enjoyed
helping the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

I still can’t believe that I was blessed to be on FOX & Friends, Dave Ramsey’s TV & Radio
show along with Good Morning Atlanta.  My favorite saying is that it is all
“God Media”.

Well, I am now in my last year of college and it is just great seeing my old
friends.  I have to get back into the swing of studying and that as we all
know for me will be hard.  My mentor has already told me I have to buckle
down. I had to laugh, I mean I have only been in school for a day.

Faithful Fish is really growing and to everyone who wears the shirts and
supports our company a BIG THANKS.

I wish everyone a great new year back at school.

Remember now, I always try and end my blogs with one positive thing so….

Good Thought for the Day – Kindness is something that you can do everyday
and it doesn’t cost a penny, but can make a persons day and is priceless to
them.  I can still remember even when I was little those times when people
were kind to me.

Blessings to all of you,

Chelsea

Saturday, May 31, 2008 – Unchristian

Hi Guys, my Mom read the “Unchristian” by David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons and asked me to read it. WOW!!! it was really insightful (a little dry, well maybe more than a little), but it really helped me understand why so many young people thing Christians are Crazy. They did a survey of 20 to 30 year olds and asked them what five words they thought of when they heard Christian or Evangelical.  The responses were1.  Stupid  2.  Hypocracy  3.  Anti-Gay  4.  Anti-Abortion  5.  PoliticsThey then surveyed pastors and they said a lot of their flock were not true Christians and the reason they were in the pews was

1.  Wife made them  2.  Networking  3.  Good for their job  4.  Had always gone, but just showed up.

This is why I am just going to work on myself.  I want to be kind and gracious and a great example of happiness so that when some one asks me why, I can just say one or two things about Christ helping me.

WHOOPS I AM PREACHING

Remember, though Christ did hang out with what we might call the losers and He loved them.  He disliked the money lenders. We should begin by working on our path andhope it is a positive reflection for Christians.

MY GOOD NEWS FOR DAY -  My cousin who is 16 just got her first job and it is at Sweet Spirit, a Christian store.  We are all so happy for her.

Have a blessed day.

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 – Make a Difference this Summer

Hi Guys, it is going to be a great summer.  A lot of us are working this summer and just trying to have fun, but maybe we can have an even better summer if we try to make a difference.  We can reach out to a friend and try not to judge, or we can on a day off work at a local charity.

The more people send me emails and the more that people call me, I hear that they want to make a difference.  I only have my own personal experience to go on, but when I went through those 2 years of losing my Dad and four other immediate family members it was God who helped me by getting me involved in helping other people.

The idea of Faithful Fish came from both a need for a different clothing line, but also how could I help people.  Thinking of helping people helped me not to focus on myself.  This gives you time to get over anger, heal or whatever you need.

Remember, the saying goes something like “Teach a man how to fish and he will be helped forever” (I know I got this one wrong).  Anyway, I was helped by so many friends, family and just people I had never met before.  So we can all make that difference.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  KNOWING GOD MAKES IT LESS OF A STRUGGLE.

Sunday, May 24, 2008 – Coming Home

Hi Guys, I am coming home.  My dearest friend Genna is going to work on my site for me.  Genna is a genius at this stuff and I can’t wait to see what creative idea’s we can come up with.

I received great news from a new friend of mine Jennifer Strickland.  Jennifer used to  be a BIG time model and did drugs and all of those things that you would think of in that world.  After she quit she became a Christian and had a calling to give her testimony.  I met her when I was volunteering for the ‘UnMasked” a Fellowship of Christian Athletes event.  I took her and her staff to the Atlanta airport.  She was very kind and encouraging to me.  Well, she is going to be on the 700 Club this week on Tuesday.  Please try and check it out.  She is really inspirational and has just a passion for it.

I have a HUGE mission that I am working on.  It is a surprise for right now and we are all working hard and praying about it.  This is going Nationwide and will be a one day event.

What am I happy about today?  That Jennifer is going to be on the 700 Club and that my friends are all happy.

Love and blessings to  all.

Saturday, May 24, 2008 – PRAY BIG

Hi Guys, I am in New Jersey with one of my best friends from the 1st grade.  We stayed friends even though she moved to New Jersey 8 years ago.

PRAY BIG!!! I have prayed all my life, but I never really prayed for me.  I prayed for my family and of course over the past 2 1/2 years I definetly prayed for my grandparents because they were so sick.  I prayed that I would’nt be so sad after my Dad passed away when I was in high school, but I didn’t actually pray for things.

I started praying for my company and for it to grow so that people could hear about my vision.   Then my prayer requests became bigger as I was able to give more money to charities.  Then I really just started praying BIG and  God is answering my prayers.

If you have a great idea think about starting a company.   If you are a writer write a book, write articles, write about your faith.  If you love clothes draw your line out go ahead and take the plunge.   PRAY for help and guidance.

What good thing has happened today (a little early to tell), but being with Genna and knowing that I am going home tomorrow to be with my Mom.

Blessings to all and PRAY BIG.

Friday, May 23, 2008 – NEW FRIENDS

Hi there, I am being  blessed by new friends and it is AWESOME.  When I read their sites and stories it reminds me how Jesus just loved everyone and understood that we are all different, but that he is the thread that makes us a community of one.

My positive note of the day is that I am being given new friends.

I am on my way to my sweet best friend Genna’s house.  We are going to have so much fun.  She is going to make me work out “Yuck, Yuck” (personal to Genna).

To all, have a blessed day and take a moment to remember everyone is different and be kind to all.

Wednesday, May 21, 2008 – Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Hi Guys, I don’t how many of you know about FCA, but this is the org that I am looking at to tithe.

Please go and look at their website and see the great things that they are doing for kids at school.  I am going to be volunteering at a 3 day camp when I get back to Atlanta.  Most of us do sports and know how much fun it is, but this org not only helps the kids it also supports coaches who work so hard for us.

They work totally from donations and always need help either by volunteering or by giving.

OK, here we go – what good thing do I have to share with you, (this is harder than I thought) Oh, I know!!  I am always saying ”like”, my Mom tells me that I say ”like” about 20 times in each sentence (Yes, she always goes overboard) well I am truly trying to stop saying “like” which is crazy hard and yesterday I caught myself a couple of times and didn’t say it.

Think about how many times you say “like” it is a lot.  I’ll bet your Mom or Dad tell you to stop.

BLESSINGS TO ALL, REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE LOVED NO MATTER WHAT

Tuesday, May 20, 2008 – Friends Who are Like Family

Today is Tuesday and I am so looking forward to Thursday.  I am going to stay at one of my best friends house “Genna” .  We have been friends forever and my Mom thinks of her as her second daughter.  I sometimes get a little jealous, being an only child an all.

Miss Gloria and my Mom are great friends and they both work really hard at their jobs.  They are probably one of  the reasons I work so hard.  I guess you could say they are my role models. Isn’t there that old saying “Blessed are those who help themselves”   Mr. Cappallini is crazy and fun, he is always there for us girls. Genna’s brother Georgie, is just awesome.  He works for a record label and gets to do some really fun stuff.

So no one has given me a good story, but I guess it has only been a day.

It is a little early for me to have a good story, but I did talk to Genna last night and just talking about us hanging out for a couple of days was great.

I just sent in all my paperwork for the mission trip Mom and I are going on.   We are going to Austria to work at a sports camp.  Since I played basketball before I was a cheerleader I am teaching basketball.  They don’t have cheerleaders over there.  That surprised me.

Anyway, have a blessed day to all.

Love Chelsea

Monday, May 19 – Team Faithful Fish

Well, I just created a blog group and I hope my friends will join in and start supporting each other.  The best part will be sharing the good stuff.  I love to hear the good stuff.

We are all living in the same world and planet and my prayer and wish is that every day we look for the good in everything instead of the bad.  I have to say this is a really tough one for me.

My good stuff today is that I drew out a new hoodie for my winter line.  It took a lot of time you might think it is easy but you have to pick the color (vintage, dark etc…) and  then do I want the words Faithful Fish or do I want just a huge logo.  Then I want the best product because I want to honor who I am wearing this for.  NO JESUS JUNK ALLOWED

Well, I am not telling you the answer, but it was a good day and I want to hear about your day

Sunday, May 18, 2008 – Prayer Posting

New York was great and I am now in Long Island for the next four days.  I just found out that one of my friends is having a baby.  She is 20 just like me, this is when I know how far I have to go.

What was my 1st thought about her (not a good one), but then I remembered how much I loved her and how Jesus never judged anyone.  I am trying to get in touch with her and tell her how happy I am for her.  She has made the best choice in the whole world and I will be there for her through thick and thin.  She is just a great person and doing the right thing.

Please pray for her.  Also, pray for and all of us that we try not to judge.  “There, but for the Grace of God go I”.

On a good note, I am in Long Island visiting my boyfriend.  He picked me up from the city last night.  He is a great guy and treats me with respect and care.

Thanks to all my Faithful Fish friends.

Have a blessed day.

Chelsea

See Mom, I’m not posting in “IM” words.

Saturday, May 17, 2008 – Good Morning NEW YORK

Many blessings to all, New York is a crazy place, but Shira and I are having so much fun.  We had our meeting at the CBS Headquarters and it will be interesting if they do deceide to feature a Christian clothing company.

I was told by a PR person yesterday that the media doesn’t really want to do anything with Christians and they want to be agnostic and fair to all.  WELL THAT IS A SAD STORY TO TELL.

We shall overcome and our joy of being faithful can’t be stopped.

Today we are taking out Shira’s friends little boy to a ball game.

Friday, May 16, 2008  – Blessings Abound

Guys, Alloy.com is featuring “Faithful Fish”.  What a blessing, I am so excited I can’t stand it.  The site is great and it is just amazing that they want to feature my little company.

Shira and I are also meeting with a guy from The CBS Morning Show (if he can make it).  He called me and they are interested in having Faithful Fish on the show.  CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.

Blessings, Blessings, Blessings.

Thanks to all my Faithful Fish friends and family.
